T Factor Diet History
Letter T in the T Factor Diet means ‘Thermogenesis Effect” or “Thermic Effect”, pertaining to the ability to burn calories.
T Factor Diet was created by Dr. Martin Kahtan in 1989 and was updated later on in the year 1994, where it was popularly known as the first diet book that promoted dietary fat reduction as a realistic way to obtain good health and a slimmer body.
Dr. Kahtan’s studies state that only the fat in the foods you eat can add up to the fats stored in your body.
The T factor diet claims that what is more significant is the recommended amount of daily fat content coming from the right foods rather than the number of calories you intake.
In Dr. Kahtan’s studies and as scientifically proven, carbohydrate calories are burned faster than fat calories, giving you the feeling of not getting hungry all the time.
T Factor Diet and Healthy Weight Loss
For people who want to have a healthy weight loss, the T Factor Diet recommends a daily consumption of fat between 20 and 40 grams for female and between 30 to 60 grams for male.
In Dr. Kahtan’s book “The T Factor diet”, he teaches the right foods to select that naturally have the most T Factor Level. This helps your body’s unknown fat burning potential to be stimulated and burn more calories than the usual normal rate.
He also includes different recipes for different situations. One works for moderate weight loss and the other one for faster weight loss – example: losing 9 to 12 pounds within 3 weeks in a rotational schedule to help avoid the feeling of deprivation.
The T Factor diet suggests that women should fall within the range of 1,000 to 1,300 calories daily and men should achieve 1,500 to 1,800 calories per day for the program to succeed.
