What is low carb weight loss diet?

It is a diet plan that advises you to skip carbs during dinner. For breakfast and lunch, you only eat two meals composed of vegetables and protein while the other meals should consist of protein and vegetables that are not packed with starch and carbohydrates.

Why do people eat too much of carbohydrates?

Our body system consists of hormone insulin that prompts us to eat. If we have too much of this insulin, chances are, we often eat until we munch the wrong types of foods.

If you can’t control this carb addiction, it can lead you to eat a whole chocolate bar or a quarter can of ice cream in just one sitting. This craving will direct you to many carbs as possible to satisfy your never-ending hungry stomach.

Once you integrate a low carb weight loss diet in your routine, you will lose your cravings for carbohydrates in due time. But make sure that you monitor your program and that you continuously follow it to see its full effect.

In a low carb weight loss diet, you start your prized meal with a salad like Oriental salad or Caesar salad. Split the rest of the meal into three equal portions - one-third protein, one-third vegetables and one-third carbs.

This method has been successful for really determined persons to not only lose weight temporarily but also in the long run.

This may not be easy to do but the challenge here is that, when you apply this low carb weight loss diet as part of your regimen, it may take a long time for this practice to be normal to you.

However, I still suggest that you consult your physician if this diet plan is really suitable to you. Because whatever diet plans we follow, it will all depend on how your body reacts.

Just remember that your body is your partner - you have to be sensitive to what does it tell you in order to achieve the right weight in a healthy way.
