The “fat-free” promotion is one trap you should avoid because it will only make you believe that you can indulge any amount of these “no fat” foods without gaining weight.

3. If you feel hungry, respond to it with healthful snacks.

Weight loss experts say that it would be better and healthy to eat every 3 to 4 hours – a nutritious low-fat snack break in between lunch and dinner.

When you feel hungry and urging for food, eating something healthy like a slice of whole-grain toasted bread would be a better choice. Don’t try to skip a meal and then eat snacks instead – this is the worst thing to happen if you are planning to lose weight.
